Type Test

Discover how fast you can type with Type Test, an interactive XENEON EDGE widget that transforms your touchscreen into a fast-paced 60-second typing challenge. Race against the clock, improve your accuracy, earn points, unlock ranks, and compete for a place on your personal leaderboard.

What’s Included

A five-second countdown prepares you before each 60-second typing test begins.

Live WPM, accuracy, and remaining time are displayed throughout each test. Incorrect letters and completed mistakes are highlighted in red, while Backspace allows errors to be corrected before continuing.

Every completed test receives a points score based on both typing speed and accuracy.

The results screen displays your final score, WPM, accuracy, rank, words to practice, achievements earned, and leaderboard placement.

Your personal leaderboard stores the top 10 results with the player name, WPM, accuracy, points, date, and time.

Ranks and Achievements

Earn a new rank for every 100 points and reveal higher ranks as your performance improves.

Complete special achievements throughout the game and unlock secret cosmetic rewards.

Customization

Choose between six display tones ranging from dark to bright cream through the in-widget Configuration menu.

The selected display tone, username, leaderboard, completed-test count, achievements, and progression are stored locally for future sessions.

A Clear All Data option is included with a confirmation warning to prevent accidental deletion.
