Your Spotify connection
This notice covers Sidekick for Spotify, its setup guide and connection pages, provided by Respawn Icons.
Your Spotify password stays with Spotify. We do not request a Client Secret. Your Client ID and connection tokens are saved on your own PC so the widget can stay signed in. The widget sends playback commands, searches and requests for music information directly to Spotify.
What Respawn Icons processes
Our connection service temporarily processes your Client ID and sign-in information to connect your browser to the widget. It does not persist this information in a database or save your Spotify access or refresh tokens. Temporary pairing information is discarded when the connection finishes, closes or expires.
We do not build a customer credential directory or collect your listening history for advertising or analytics. These widget pages do not add advertising or analytics trackers. Cloudflare hosts the connection service and may process network and operational information under its own privacy practices.
Data on your device
The widget keeps its login and layout preference locally. Music information is held during use, and your browser may cache artwork. Setup pages use browser storage for the connection session and theme preference. Spotify manages its own sign-in cookies.
Choose Menu → Connection → Disconnect to remove the widget’s saved login and clear loaded music information. To revoke Spotify access, also remove the app from your Spotify Apps page. Browser caches and other widget installations must be cleared separately.

Spotify and Cloudflare may process information internationally. See Spotify’s privacy policy, Cloudflare’s privacy policy and the Respawn Icons website privacy policy for their respective practices. Purchases and support requests are covered by the website policy.
For privacy questions, contact Respawn Icons support. Do not send passwords or connection credentials. Spotify is a third-party beneficiary of this notice as described in the widget terms.
