Sidekick
for Discord.

Setup guide

What you need

  • Discord desktop, open and signed in on this Windows PC.
  • Respawn Companion with the Discord module running.
  • iCUE and your Sidekick for Discord widget.
1

Download Respawn Companion

Download Respawn Companion ↗

Download the latest Windows installer from the release page. Open Respawn Companion, click Add Modules, then add Sidekick for Discord. Start the module and keep Companion running. Open Discord desktop and sign in before continuing in the widget.

2

Create your Discord app

Open Discord Developer Portal ↗

Use the same account as Discord desktop. Select New Application, name it Sidekick, accept Discord’s terms and create it.

Open OAuth2 and leave Public Client switched off. Under Redirects, add this exact address and save:

http://127.0.0.1:47833/oauth/callback
3

Copy your ID & Secret

On your app’s OAuth2 page, copy the Client ID and Client Secret. Use Reset Secret if Discord asks you to generate one.

Paste both into the widget. Your secret belongs in Sidekick’s Client Secret box only; this guide never asks you to enter credentials on the website. After a successful connection, Sidekick stores the application credentials and authorization encrypted for your Windows account. Restarting the module normally reconnects without entering them again.

4

Connect Discord

Tap Connect Discord in the widget. Approve the prompts in Discord desktop as they appear.
